News of the approval of the first Covid vaccination for use in the UK has been met with great excitement and optimism, not least here at KAMP. The government has announced that the vaccine could be rolled out as early as next week to the most vulnerable patients, frontline NHS and care staff.
Ofcourse, we all want to know when we might be receiving our vaccine. At KAMP, we are already starting to make plans and await more information from NHS England on exactly what our role will be.
However, most of us will have to be patient ; the expectation is that the vaccinations will not start for most people until 2021 and it will take some time to vaccinate everyone who is eligible.
KAMP will keep patients as informed as possible with developments and will update these messages frequently as we receive information from NHS England.
