We have been provided with a new patient messaging service called MJOG. MJOG will be used to send appointment confirmations, reminders & other health communications via text message or smart phone app.
MJOG gives patients the ability to text back. For example you will be able to text ‘CANCEL’ instead of phoning the Practice to cancel your appointment if you can no longer attend. You will receive a confirmation message one week prior to your appointment and then a reminder message the day before your appointment. Please note, if you book your appointment less than one week in advance, you will only receive the reminder message.

MJOG messenger is a free app for patients allowing quick and easy two-way communication. (The app can be downloaded from the Apple or Android Stores).It is a convenient way to manage appointments, be alerted about our services and receive reminders. We are able to send more informative messages and you will be able to provide feedback to surveys & NHS campaigns such as Flu vaccinations, cervical smears & NHS health checks
